Airtight Inflatable products are designed and invented by Don Gordon. In the early 1960′s invented the first foam landing mats, including incline mats, octagon and all other foam shapes that currently fill gymnastic schools, early childhood facilities and special needs programs throughout the world. Gordon also invented the foam landing pits for pole vaulters and high jumpers (Port a Pit) used in all track and field competitions, including the Olympic Games since 1968. Gordon was a champion gymnast and coached at the high school and at Brigham Young University. He also taught biology. He is always an innovator in whatever field he is working in and others follow his lead.
Since 1999 Gordon has developed many successful inflatable products which has set the trend in the watersports recreation field. Over the years Gordon has developed product lines with other materials such as metal, fabric and trampoline components such as Gordon’s Aeroball, and Space Maze and multiple enclosed play structures for kids including some for McDonald’s and Burger King restaurants. Some of his existing water play slide type products have been designed for www.aquaglide.net Platinum water sports line. These are also marketed by Ron Romens’. Gordon has over 300 products on the market and holds over 40 patents. Including a new patented Bungee mat which is truly revolutionary and is currently marketed through the Tumbl Trak company in Michigan. He also started the constant flow bouncers in 1961. These were known as “Moon Bounce” Scotty Cummings was the founder.
The current constant air units are generally large and heavy and require delivery, set up and pick up. These products are smaller, more versatile, closed air systems. They allow customers to pick up and return. All these products are patent pending.
